BBC America announced a host of premiere dates at the Television Critics Association press tour in Burbank on Saturday, including for “The Game,” “24 Hours on Earth,” and others.
The network also said that John Simm (“Human Traffic,” “Mad Dogs”) would lead the cast of its next scripted series, “Intruders.” Simm will play Jack Whalen, a Los Angeles cop turned writer in “Intruders,” a contemporary paranormal drama.

“The Game,” a six-part drama about 1970s espionage and the invisible war fought by Mi5, will premiere in fall 2014.
The network also announced a new “BBC Earth” programming block for Tuesday nights, including “24 Hours on Earth.” which premieres March 11 at 9 p.m. The series will travel through a virtual day, exploring how animals and plants explore the environment.

The network also said that “Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan” will return March 25 at 10 p.m. The new season will find Monaghan hooking up with his old “Lord of the Rings” castmate Billy Boyd.
April 19 will see the premiere of “The Real History of Science Fiction,” which will explore the genre through the eyes of some of its masters.
