The first asteroid of 2014 crushed into Earth's air and failed out some place over the Atlantic Ocean on Jan. 2, 2014 around 2 p. m. EST. The asteroid was initially detected the day preceding, on New Year's.
On a positive note, the space rock was located this time in spite of the fact that it was moderately small–only between two and four meters(six to 10 feet) over.
