The Earthlinked direct exchange geothermal system in the Oakhurst model offers a small-footprint, highly energy efficient configuration that uses consistent ground temperature to provide heat, air conditioning, and hot water for the home.

Syracuse, NY (PRWEB) September 11, 2013

Syracuse, NY-based mechanical contracting firm TAG Mechanical Systems, Inc., provided an Earthlinked Technologies geothermal system for the Oakhurst model at the 2013 Parade of Homes in Jamesville, NY, a suburb of Syracuse. The Parade of Homes event, hosted by the Home Builders & Remodelers of Central New York, showcases the latest construction trends and practices and is taking place at Jamesville Grove Estates through September 22.

More about Earthlinked geothermal

The Earthlinked Technologies direct exchange geothermal system installed by TAG is a small-footprint, highly efficient system that uses the consistent ground temperature (in this case approximately 100 feet down into the earth) to heat and cool the home as well as heat water. A copper tube earth loop configuration circulates heat-transfer refrigerant, allowing for energy efficient heat exchange with the earth. The system brings heat from the earth to a compressor to heat the home during the heating season and removes heat to the earth during the cooling season.

Earthlinked Technologies’ ground loops offer the smallest size and smallest footprint available in the market and are able to be installed in several configurations – diagonal, vertical, or horizontal.

Standby Generators also on display at Parade of Homes

TAG also is displaying several Generac and Kohler standby generators at the Parade of Homes event. A permanently installed standby generator for a home or business provides power during power outages. The equipment operates on a variety of fossil fuels (such as natural gas, propane, or diesel) and can provide sufficient power to maintain heating or cooling, refrigeration, lights, and communications capabilities.
